Vassilakis Takis

Vassilakis Takis (1925-2019) was a renowned Greek artist celebrated for his innovative work in kinetic art, sculpture, and music. Born in Athens, Takis became a pioneer in incorporating magnetic, light, and sound elements into his art. His exploration of the invisible forces of nature led to the creation of his iconic "Signals," "Magnetic Fields," and "Musical" sculptures, which challenged traditional artistic boundaries and offered dynamic, multisensory experiences. Takis exhibited globally, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
